Money Creek Township Elections

Presidential Nomination Primary Day: A Presidential Nomination Primary must be held each year in which a president and vice president of the US are to be nominated and elected. If the major parties do not jointly submit a different date by March 1 in a year prior to a presidential election year, the presidential nomination primary must be held on the first Tuesday in March in the year of the presidential election. 

Polls will be open from 7:00AM until 8:00PM at the Money Creek Town Hall, 1937 Money Creek Road, Houston, MN 55943

 March Town Election Day: 2nd Tuesday in March. Offices to be voted on: 

• One (1) Supervisor for a 3-year term
• One (1) Clerk for a 2-year term

Polls will be open from 3:30PM until 8:00PM at the Money Creek Town Hall, 1937 Money Creek Road, Houston, MN 55943  

Minnesota Primary Election Day: The second Tuesday in August. Minimum voting hours are 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Except for non-metro towns with less than 500 inhabitants who have voted to open no later than 10 a.m. Except for unorganized territories whose residents have petitioned to open no later than 10 a.m.

General Election Day: First Tuesday after the first Monday in November. Minimum voting hours are 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Except for non-metro towns with less than 500 inhabitants who have voted to open no later than 10 a.m. Except for unorganized territories whose residents have petitioned to open no later than 10 a.m.
